With an impressive capacity and all the cooking functions you could need, this air fryer oven can handle everyday cooking and special occasions with ease.
It can fit more than 2 pounds of french fries in its air-frying basket, so it’s ideal for families. We loved its efficient cooking – it took just 18 minutes to cook perfect chicken wings and 9 minutes for extra-crisp bacon. It offered the most consistent results of all the air fryer ovens we tested. The connected app provides cooking inspiration with hundreds of recipes, and the Autopilot feature takes the guesswork out of preparing select recipes.
The app doesn’t allow you to adjust the oven’s settings, so its function is mainly limited to providing recipes. The accessories aren’t dishwasher-safe either.
This air fryer oven offers similar cooking performance and many of the same functions as high-end models but at a fraction of the price.
It air-fries extremely quickly, needing just 12 minutes to make crispy french fries. It can hold 2 pounds of french fries, six pieces of toast and a nearly 2-pound London broil. Its control panel is highly intuitive, and the LED display is clear and easy to read. It’s Wi-Fi connected, and the accompanying app lets you adjust the oven’s settings from a smartphone or tablet even when you’re not in the same room.
It runs up to 10 degrees hotter than the selected temperature, so there’s a learning curve to choosing cooking temperatures and times
Its simple design and limited functions make this air fryer oven super easy to use, even if you’re new to air-frying.
It has the same simple interface as Instant Pot pressure cookers, so it’s easy to master. The built-in window and interior light make tracking your food’s progress easy. Testing found it reduced the cooking time for french fries by more than 50% over a standard oven. We were impressed by how evenly it cooked different types of food and how versatile its various accessories were.
The included baking tray is shallow, so grease and other liquids can spill when taking it out of the oven. This oven was one of the more difficult models to clean.
With 1 cubic foot of interior space, this air fryer toaster oven can fit a 14-pound turkey, making it big enough for holiday dinners.
It made nearly flawless chicken wings with crispy skin and juicy meat in less than half the time as a standard oven. Its pizza setting cooked a frozen pizza perfectly, and the toast setting only needed 3 minutes to get bread golden brown. Its temperature is highly accurate, registering within a couple of degrees of its setting on an oven thermometer.
It gets pretty messy when cooking greasy foods like chicken wings and bacon because they often splatter all over the bottom and door.
This air fryer oven has a large enough capacity and more than enough functions to make it perfect for a wide range of recipes.
It has a compact design but can still fit a 2-pound bag of frozen french fries in its air-frying basket. The Dual Cook feature automatically switches from one cooking function to another for effortless cooking. It made delicious hot dogs with crispy skin and a juicy interior in just 8 minutes. Its air-frying basket and baking pan are dishwasher-safe for fast, easy cleaning.
The air-frying presets don’t provide the best results, so the temperature and/or time need to be adjusted.
We recommend these products based on an intensive research process that's designed to cut through the noise and find the top products in this space. Guided by experts, we spend hours looking into the factors that matter, to bring you these selections.
Air fryers have become incredibly popular kitchen tools because of their ability to cook quickly and get foods crispy with little to no oil. But between your coffee maker, microwave, toaster and other must-haves, it can be difficult to find space on your counter for another appliance. Fortunately, the best air fryer toaster oven combos offer all the benefits of air-frying with the functions of a toaster oven, increasing their versatility and maximizing counter space.
The BestReviews Testing Lab tested the most popular air fryer toaster oven combos on the market to determine the top models for all types of kitchens. We tested their air-frying performance by preparing commonly air-fried foods like french fries and chicken wings, evaluating how crispy the foods got and how long they took to cook. We also considered their toaster oven features to see how versatile the ovens were and how well they worked for basics like toasting, baking, broiling and reheating. Finally, we examined how easy the ovens were to use and clean and how warm they got the kitchen during cooking.
After air-frying many batches of french fries, chicken wings and hot dogs, toasting plenty of bread and reheating lots of leftovers, we found that the Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro is the best air fryer toaster oven combo because of its excellent air-frying performance, versatility and impressive capacity.
Product specifications
Type: Oven air fryer | Capacity: 1 cu. ft. | Dimensions: 21.5” W x 17.3” D x 12.8” H | Weight: 22.8 lb | Material: Stainless steel | Number of Functions: 13 | Temperature Range: 80 to 480 degrees
The Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro is a countertop air fryer oven with 13 cooking functions and presets. Fairly large with a 1-cubic-foot capacity, it can hold a great deal of food, including a 14-pound turkey. During testing, we easily fit a 2-pound bag of french fries in its air-frying basket with room to spare. We focused extensively on its air-frying performance, preparing french fries, chicken wings, hot dogs, Brussels sprouts and bacon. We were especially impressed by how quickly it cooked the food, needing just 13 minutes to prepare perfectly crispy french fries and 18 minutes for chicken wings. Both were evenly cooked, too — the fries were still fluffy and tender inside, and the wings were juicy and flavorful.
The oven also performed its toaster oven functions very well. We toasted bread to a perfect golden brown in just two and a half minutes and used the cookie setting to make chocolate chip cookies that were crispy on the outside but soft in the center in 11 minutes. When we used the reheat setting for a chicken parmesan hero, it needed just 10 minutes to warm the chicken, melt the cheese and gently toast the bread for a nice, crispy texture. The Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro is also Wi-Fi-enabled, so it connects to the Breville+ app. The app provides access to hundreds of recipes and the convenient Autopilot feature, which automatically adjusts the cooking functions and temperatures for select recipes in the app. We used the feature to make Extra-Crispy Bar-Style Tortilla Pizza, and the finished dish had a deliciously crispy browned edge and perfectly melted cheese.
We were slightly disappointed that the oven’s accessories weren’t dishwasher-safe, but we didn’t find it difficult to clean. It generated little heat and kept the kitchen comfortable during testing, making it an excellent option for warm-weather cooking. Overall, we scored the Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro a 5 out of 5 for its overall performance, ease of use, excellent air-frying and generous capacity.
Best value air fryer toaster oven combo
Product specifications
Type: Oven air fryer | Capacity: 26 qt | Dimensions: 16.3” L x 16.9” W x 15.5” H | Weight: 22 lb | Material: Stainless steel | Number of Functions: 12 | Temperature Range: 80 to 450 degrees
The Cosori Smart Air Fryer Toaster Oven has many of the same features as high-end air fryer toaster oven combos but at half the price. In addition to air-frying, it offers 11 other cooking functions, including toasting, baking, roasting, broiling, dehydrating and fermenting. During testing, we found that the oven sometimes ran up to 10 degrees hotter than its selected temperature. However, once we adjusted the heat accordingly, it offered perfectly even cooking. We were especially impressed by its air-frying performance and efficiency. It needed 12 minutes to make crispy french fries with a fluffy interior and 10 minutes for extra-crisp bacon. On the reheat setting, it cooked day-old pizza until it was nearly as crisp as when fresh in just five minutes.
While not as large as the Breville Joule, the Cosori offers a large enough capacity for families of four to six. We easily fit a 2-pound bag of french fries in the air fryer basket and a 1.75-pound London broil on the included food tray. It can also fit six slices of toast, a 12-inch pizza or a 5-pound chicken. Its interior has a nonstick coating that made cleaning it after cooking quick and easy, but its accessories aren’t dishwasher-safe and required hand-washing.
Like the Joule, the Cosori Smart Air Fryer Toaster Oven is Wi-Fi-enabled. It works with the VeSync app, which also provides access to hundreds of recipes. However, we found the Cosori’s app offered superior functionality to the Breville+ because it let us adjust the oven’s settings and turn it on from our smartphone or tablet. Ultimately, we score the oven a 4 out of 5 for its advanced features, user-friendly app, efficient air-frying and solid cooking performance.

Capacity: 18 L | Dimensions: 16.53” L x 15.55” W x 13.89” H | Weight: 25.9 lb | Material: Stainless steel | Number of Functions: 7 | Temperature Range: 170 to 450 degrees
With its simple design and limited functions, the Instant Omni Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo is an ideal model for beginners. It’s large enough to fit a 12-inch pizza, six slices of toast or a whole chicken, so it would work well for families of four to six. It offers six cooking functions besides air-frying, including baking, toasting, roasting, broiling and warming. During testing, we found the air-frying function cooked french fries more than 50% faster than those prepared in a standard oven. We were also impressed by how well it air-fried chicken wings, taking just 18 minutes to get them uniformly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasonings we used were cooked into the wings, too, so every bite was loaded with flavor.
The oven toasted well, needing just two and a half minutes to lightly toast bread. We were also pleased with how nicely it reheated our cold french fries, taking just three minutes to make them hot and crispy again. Choosing the right temperature and time settings was very easy with the straightforward knob controls and clear display. And we liked that all of its accessories were dishwasher-safe, which helped cut down on cleanup time after testing.
We loved the interior light and the built-in window in the oven’s door because it made monitoring our food’s progress much easier. We could see if the food needed more time without opening the door and risking letting heat escape as we had to with basket-style air fryers. Overall, we give this oven a 4.5 out of 5 for its user-friendly design, versatility and crispy air-frying results.
Best large-capacity air fryer toaster oven combo
Product specifications
Type: Oven air fryer | Capacity: 1 cu. ft. | Dimensions: 21.5” W x 17.1” D x 12.7” H | Weight: 38.9 lb | Material: Stainless steel | Number of Functions: 13 | Temperature Range: 80 to 480 degrees
The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro is nearly identical to the Breville Joule, except it isn’t Wi-Fi-enabled. If that connectivity isn’t essential for your kitchen, you can get all the same features and similar cooking performance for a slightly lower price. Like the Joule, it easily fit 2 pounds of french fries in its air-frying basket with room to spare during testing. It can also fit up to nine pieces of toast, a 13-inch pizza or a 14-pound turkey, making it ideal for special-occasion cooking.
We were especially pleased with its air-frying results — it got frozen french fries crispy in 14 minutes and made juicy, flavorful chicken wings with crispy skin in 18 minutes. We also tested the Pizza function, which perfectly melted and browned the cheese and crisped the crust of a frozen pizza in 20 minutes. Additionally, the oven toasted bread to a perfect golden brown in four minutes and reheated a serving of chicken and rice without drying it out in 10 minutes.
The Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro offered a very accurate temperature during testing. We used an oven thermometer to check the temperature for multiple cooking functions and found it was always within a degree or two of the oven’s setting. Its knob and button controls were intuitive and easy to use, and the recommended rack positions were listed on the oven’s door, so we didn’t need to consult the manual much during cooking. We also appreciated the limited noise it made when air-frying and how little heat it generated across all cooking functions.
Despite its larger capacity, we had no trouble fitting the oven in our testing area. However, it might be an issue in a smaller kitchen with limited counter space. Overall, we give this oven a score of 4.5 out of 5 for its user-friendly controls, versatile and effective cooking options and impressive capacity.
Product specifications
Type: Oven air fryer | Capacity: 0.6 cu. ft. | Dimensions: 14” L x 15.75” W x 14” H | Weight: 26.4 lb | Material: Stainless steel | Number of Functions: 11 | Temperature Range: 80 to 450 degrees
The Cuisinart TOA-65 Digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven is an air fryer toaster oven that can do everything you’d want both an air fryer and a toaster oven to do. Its wide temperature range supports 11 cooking functions, including air-frying, toasting, baking, roasting, broiling, reheating, proofing and dehydrating. It also has presets for bagels and pizza and air-frying presets for french fries, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, other snacks and veggies.
Its Dual Cook mode also allows you to combine two cooking modes in a single program, so the oven can transition from one to the other, such as baking a casserole to cook it through and then switching over to broiling to brown the top. During testing, we found that it air-fried well, needing just eight minutes to prepare hot dogs with crispy skin and 10 minutes for Brussels sprouts with a deliciously caramelized exterior.
We also found that the oven’s toast function was efficient, toasting two slices of bread to medium darkness in two minutes. Its reheat setting had a default temperature of just 250 degrees, so it took nearly 15 minutes to reheat a slice of pizza, but it was perfectly heated, with the cheese melted and the crust crisp without any burning. Its capacity also impressed us — the air-frying basket held 2 pounds of french fries during testing without being completely full. It can also fit six slices of toast, a 12-inch pizza or a 4-pound chicken. Best of all, it was also one of the easiest air fryer ovens to clean because it had a nonstick interior, and the baking pan and air-frying basket were dishwasher-safe.
Despite its spacious interior, the Cuisinart Digital Air Fryer Oven is relatively compact. We didn’t have any trouble finding a spot for it in our testing area, with plenty of clearance around it for venting. It can also replace multiple appliances like a standalone air fryer, toaster oven, dehydrator and slow cooker to maximize counter space. Overall, we gave this oven a 4 out of 5 for its versatility, user-friendly design and solid air-frying results.
Product specifications
Capacity: 12 L | Dimensions: 11.5” W x 10.6” L x 11.6” H | Weight: 11.6 lb | Material: Stainless steel | Number of Functions: 6 | Temperature Range: 200 to 450 degrees
The Our Place Wonder Oven offers the fewest functions and most limited capacity of all the countertop air fryer ovens we tested, but its ultra-compact design makes it a perfect fit for small kitchens. It weighs under 12 pounds, too, so it’s easy to take in and out of a cabinet if you prefer to store it when not in use. Despite its smaller size, it can still fit up to a 4.5-pound chicken. During testing, we fit 1 pound of french fries in its air-frying basket, making it ideal for cooking for one to three people. Its air-frying function made deliciously crispy french fries nine minutes faster than our oven-baked batch and prepared crispy, flavorful chicken wings in just 21 minutes, less than half the time of those made in the oven.
We also successfully toasted two slices of bread, needing just three minutes to get it to a perfect golden brown. When we reheated a couple of pieces of pizza, the cheese was perfectly melted and the crust crisp in just eight minutes. The oven also has a steam-infusion feature that allowed us to revive a leftover chicken breast, so it was juicy and tender after reheating it for nine minutes.
The Wonder Oven also stood out as the air fryer oven with the best aesthetic appeal among those we tested. While it is available in five stylish colors, our testing model was in Blue Salt, a muted gray-blue, that looked great sitting on the counter. Overall, we scored this oven a 3.5 out of 5 for its compact, beautiful design, unique steam-infusion feature and even cooking results.

Capacity: 12 L | Dimensions: 16.39” W x 21.5” L x 13.26” H | Weight: 31 lbs | Material: Stainless steel | Number of Functions: 12 | Temperature Range: 100 to 450 degrees
The Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven isn’t just an air fryer toaster oven — it is two ovens in one, allowing you to prepare two dishes at the same time even if they cook at different temperatures. During testing, we found the top oven was ideal for flat food items like pizza, cookies, fish and toast. The lower oven was larger, and we found it was big enough to roast a whole chicken or bake a small cake. We were also impressed by its Smart Finish setting, which held the second oven until its preheat and cook time matched the time of the food that took longer to cook to ensure all the dishes finished at the same time.
The top oven offers baking, broiling, reheating, warming, bagel and toast functions, while the lower oven supports air-frying, convection baking, pizza, air roasting, whole roasting and dehydrating. Given its size, the lower oven was more versatile than the top, but separation makes it easy to prepare a full meal within the appliance. Both ovens also preheated within two to three minutes during testing, so we found we could get a meal on the table more quickly than with a conventional oven.
The Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven does take up quite a bit of space on a countertop, but it can replace multiple appliances, such as a toaster oven, air fryer and/or dehydrator. It can also prepare a full meal even if the dishes require different temperatures, so it may be worth making room. Overall, we give this oven a 3.5 out of 5 for its multiple ovens, convenient Smart Finish feature and solid cooking performance.
Versatility is the main appeal of an air fryer toaster oven combo for most home cooks. To ensure you get the most out of a model, its size and number of functions are usually the primary concern, but you should also consider factors like its ease of use, accessories and cleaning process.
Air fryer toaster oven combos are generally larger than a dedicated air fryer or a traditional toaster oven. They offer a greater capacity, so they take up more countertop space. A dedicated air fryer usually holds 0.1 to 0.2 cubic feet (3 to 6 quarts), while a traditional toaster oven holds 0.3 to 1 cubic feet. The air fryer ovens we tested ranged from 0.4 to 1.2 cubic feet, and they naturally took up more counter space than the dedicated air fryers. Most were also larger than the average toaster oven.
Despite the larger capacity and dimensions, we didn’t have much trouble finding space for the air fryer ovens during testing. The Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro and Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro were both large enough to hold a 14-pound turkey, but they fit easily on the counter, even with several inches on all sides for ventilation. The only issue we ran into was with the tallest oven we tested, the Cosori Smart Air Fryer Toaster Oven, which had just enough clearance beneath the overhead cabinets in our testing area for ventilation. In a kitchen with especially low overhead cabinets, the height might be an issue.
If you’re worried about having enough countertop space, you can find compact models that won’t take up much space or are light enough to easily take in and out of a cabinet. The Our Place Wonder Oven is our favorite small air fryer oven, compact and lightweight enough to work well in a small galley kitchen, a dorm room or an apartment.
Most countertop air fryer ovens feature knob or dial controls with a few buttons for starting or stopping the oven and activating other special features. The most user-friendly models pair these controls with an LED or LCD display, making it easy to set a precise temperature and time.
Knob controls are relatively intuitive and easy to use, so they are ideal for home cooks who prefer a simple interface for their appliances. However, we ran into some minor issues with these controls during testing. When using the knobs to set the temperature or time on the Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro and Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, we sometimes turned past our desired settings and had to adjust them before starting the oven. Fortunately, with most knob controls, you only have to turn the knob in the opposite direction to lower the temperature or time setting.
The more cooking functions an air fryer oven offers, the more versatile it will be in your kitchen. Some models, like the Our Place Wonder Oven, feature just the basics, while others, like the Breville ovens, offer more than 10 functions, allowing them to replace multiple countertop appliances.
Some of the most popular cooking functions for an air fryer toaster oven include:
Essential functions like air-frying, toasting, baking, broiling, warming and reheating can come in handy on a daily basis in an air fryer toaster oven. Some niche functions like dehydrating and proofing may not be very useful for the average home cook, but they provide the opportunity for experimentation in the kitchen.
During testing, we found that the air fryer toaster oven combo’s performance was very similar to the dedicated air fryers we tested in terms of cooking time and overall crispiness. However, they took longer to preheat. Some dedicated air fryers don’t require any preheating time, but those that do usually only need a minute or two because of their smaller size. Oven air fryers are larger, so they can take up to five minutes to preheat.
For functions like baking, broiling, warming and reheating, we found that air fryer ovens performed similarly to standard toaster ovens. However, toasting was generally faster in a slot toaster than in an air fryer oven, taking one to two minutes less to get bread golden brown.
Like air fryers and toaster ovens, an air fryer oven includes accessories to help you cook your favorite recipes. Unlike a dedicated air fryer with a perforated basket that sits in the front drawer to hold the food, most air fryer ovens have a mesh air-frying basket that slides into tracks in the interior. They also come with a wire rack for baking, toasting, roasting and broiling, and many even include a baking pan and/or a broiling pan.
Air fryer toaster oven combos are typically very easy to use. Since most feature knob controls, their operation is straightforward, with one knob for the temperature setting and another for the time. Most have a button to turn the oven on and off, and they all have a window in the door that allows you to monitor your food without letting heat escape.
Cleanup usually isn’t difficult, either, but unlike a standard, full-size oven, which only requires cleaning every couple of months, an air fryer toaster oven needs cleaning after each use. If crumbs and food residue are left inside the smaller space, they can pose a fire hazard the next time you use the oven.
The interior of the oven can be wiped down with a damp cloth, but some models, like the Cuisinart TOA-65 Digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven, have a nonstick coating inside that makes it even easier to remove grease and residue. You’ll also be able to clean your oven more quickly if the accessories, such as the air-frying basket and baking pan, are dishwasher-safe.
Our testing revealed that the air-frying performance among dedicated air fryers and air fryer toaster ovens was pretty similar. However, because dedicated air fryers are smaller than oven models, they typically heat up more quickly, so they require little to no preheating and may have shorter cooking times.
During testing, the GoWise 7-Quart Digital Touchscreen Air Fryer didn’t require any preheating and made crispy french fries with a fluffy, tender interior in just 10 minutes. On the other hand, the Breville Joule Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro required four minutes of preheating time. It also air-fried french fries to perfection but needed 13 minutes to get the job done. Even the most efficient air fryer toaster oven for french fries, the Cosori Smart Air Fryer Toaster Oven, took a couple minutes longer than the GoWise. Like the Breville, it also automatically preheated, needing three minutes to reach the desired temperature.
The finished food from dedicated air fryers and air fryer toaster ovens was very similar, with both types producing crispy, evenly cooked food. We found that we had to be more careful to avoid overloading the air-frying basket in dedicated air fryers, though, because they had less capacity and couldn’t hold as much food as the ovens.
Countertop air fryer ovens generally cost between $100 and $500. Prices vary based on the capacity, number of cooking functions and other advanced features.
For $100 to $200, you’ll usually find air fryer ovens with a capacity between 0.4 and 0.6 cubic feet. These models typically have less than 10 functions. However, you can find some models that are a bit bigger, such as the Cosori Smart Air Fryer Toaster Oven, which has a capacity of more than 0.6 cubic feet, 12 cooking functions and even Wi-Fi connectivity for an affordable price.
For $200 to $350, air fryers usually provide a capacity of 0.6 to 0.8 cubic feet, so they do better for bigger groups. They generally have at least 10 functions and may incorporate special features that increase their versatility. The Cuisinart TOA-65 Digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven has a Dual Cook feature that allows it to transition from one cooking function to another, while the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven has two ovens that let you cook two dishes at different temperatures.
For $350 to $500, you can expect a top-of-the-line air fryer toaster oven with a capacity of 0.8 cubic feet or more. They are large enough that some can even fit a small to mid-size turkey for holiday dinners. They typically offer more than 10 cooking functions and may have special features like Wi-Fi connectivity to make them more convenient. The Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro is large enough to hold a 14-pound turkey and allows access to the Breville+ app with the Autopilot feature to make cooking even easier.
To test our air fryer toaster oven combos, we prepared five commonly air-fried foods: frozen french fries, chicken wings, hot dogs, Brussels sprouts and bacon. We followed the same recipes across all models, so the cooking temperatures were standardized. We also prepared the same foods in a dedicated air fryer and a standard, full-size oven, so we could compare both the cooking times and the flavor and texture of the finished foods.
To air-fry french fries, we placed frozen fries in the oven’s air-frying basket, lightly misted them with olive oil and seasoned them with a small amount of salt. We then cooked the french fries at 400 degrees for at least 10 minutes, shaking them halfway through.
We prepared our chicken wings for air-frying by tossing them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika until fully coated. Next, we placed them in the oven’s air-frying basket and cooked them at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. We then flipped the wings over and cooked them for at least another eight minutes.
To ready our hot dogs for air-frying, we cut slits down their length before placing them in the oven’s basket. We cooked them for six minutes at 400 degrees and then carefully transferred each to a bun. We returned the hot dogs and buns to the oven and cooked them for at least another two minutes.
We tossed our Brussels sprouts with olive oil, sliced garlic, salt and pepper and placed them in the oven’s air-frying basket. We cooked the sprouts at 375 degrees for five minutes before tossing them to ensure even cooking. We returned them to the air fryer for at least another five minutes.
We placed the bacon in a single layer in the oven’s air-frying basket and cooked it at 350 degrees for at least nine minutes.
Additionally, we toasted bread, reheated leftovers and made pizza in the ovens to see how well they performed their toaster oven functions. We also baked cookies and broiled meat in models with those settings.
A. Toaster oven air fryer combos are highly versatile appliances that maximize your kitchen’s counter space. Instead of having a separate air fryer and toaster oven, you can have a single appliance that does the work of both.
Our testing found that combo models offered a very similar cooking performance to a dedicated air fryer or toaster oven, so you won’t be sacrificing the food quality. And because air fryer toaster oven combos usually offer a larger capacity than an air fryer or toaster oven, they’re a more practical option for families.
A. You can use aluminum foil in many toaster oven air fryer combos, but you should always consult the owner’s manual before adding foil to your appliance to be safe.
A. An air fryer toaster oven and a convection toaster are essentially the same thing. However, they have a couple of differences that affect performance. The primary difference is that a convection toaster oven usually doesn’t have a mesh air-frying basket. An air fryer toaster oven has a mesh basket, so the hot air circulating inside can reach the food from all directions, which usually leads to more even cooking and crispier food.
Additionally, the convection fan that circulates the hot hair is usually located at the back of a convection toaster oven. The fan is often at the top of an air fryer oven, which can help reduce preheating and cooking times.
